Such great information! I woke up this morning feeling so sad and desperate for hope about my marriage. I sat at my desk and listened to this episode and I had such a change of heart! First I didn’t feel so alone when reminded that all couples have big problems, yes even Christian couples. Next, there was real Biblical advice at how I could start a change in my marriage. I recommend this podcast to everyone. Look through the list of episodes and you’ll find something that applies to your situation.

I love this podcast! I have learned so much through listening to it and really appreciate how Julie addresses tough questions with such kindness and delicacy well hammering down to the truth. If you’re looking to grow as an individual and understand God, yourself and others better I highly recommend listening to this podcast. She authentically gets to the heart of intimacy, not only in relation to sexual matters but also emotional, spiritual and cognitively.

I love Juli Slattery! She is such a wise woman, full of grace and does not shy away from speaking the truth. The topics she touches on are so sensitive and yet she does it with such sensitivity and thoughtfulness. I don’t know her personally but it feels like it when I hear her podcast. My connection with Juli was through Moody Bible Institute where I studied and I’m so grateful for the wealth of knowledge she brings the faith community. I eagerly wake up on Monday to listen to the next episode! Java with Juli is the only one that I listen to so consistently. Thank you, Juli for helping us think through topics of sexuality biblically!

It seems that almost every week Julie expands my understanding of Christian faith and what God says about sexuality & sexual intimacy. I’m in my late 20s now and I wish I understood the Bible with the context Julie shares when I was in my teens and early 20s. So thankful I stumbled on this podcast years ago and I don’t know how she does it, but every episode I’m still learning something new.

So thankful to Juli for helping me better understand my story and putting words to my emotions that I struggle to explain to my husband.

I have young adults/teens and this podcast has been life changing to me as a mom, which I didn’t expect! I started listening to help with marriage stuff, but Juli has given me tools for not only marriage, but also parenting and helping others through their tough seasons. I have 1 friend that she and I listen and then discuss the episodes so we can really ponder, digest, learn and grow. I feel like Juli (and Hannah 😉) are my BFF’s even though we’ve never met or talked.

Best podcast I have ever heard talking about sexuality and how to navigate fragile conversations with Biblical integrity. Juli approaches each topic with such gentleness, humility, and integrity. So needed and appreciated.

Juli Slattery has simply changed my life. Her wise words and gentle demeanor held my hand through a tough season. On the other side, I consider Juli a personal mentor though she doesn’t know me. She has challenged me, comforted me, she is consistent in ministering. She is open minded and yet unwavering in truth. And at the end of it all, it’s truly Christ through her. She allows Him to work on her and through her. Her books, Bible studies, blogs, and of course her podcast are at the top of my recommendation list.

There is so much rich, valuable, Biblically grounded content in this podcast. As a single woman, I’m so encouraged by messages that are geared towards my season but I’m highly grateful for all of the discussions that allow me to learn how to encourage and understand the baffles others are walking through.

I have loved listening to this podcast for years now. Juli imparts such wisdom on not only sexuality, but Christianity and life in general. Juli has taught me how to think more critically and grown my desire to grow in wisdom and compassion. Even my husband is now a devoted follower listening to every episode when it comes out! I love listening to Java with Juli! Each week she and her team of panel speakers provide much needed inspiration, direction and Biblical truth to me as a married woman. She addresses topics that are not often spoken in church or the spiritual community, but through this podcast-she is breaking down barriers and getting the conversations going. Plus, her podcasts are helping me in my relationship with my husband through better communication and tough, but necessary conversations.

This is one podcast that I won't miss. Juli demonstrates wisdom, kindness, compassion and grace in her measured and thoughtful interactions with guests - and her guests are some of the best! I have more clarity, confidence and hope to confront issues of intimacy and sexuality because of this ministry.

Juli is a Godsend! Our marriage counselors recommended a YouTube video by Juli and I don’t know where I’d be without her knowledge and understanding. She has a calm presence where I feel like I can be vulnerable with myself and my husband about all topics related to intimacy. I’ve started following and reading books by some of the guests she’s had on, as they’re all so great! Recommend 1000% if you’re married or single!

Juli is easy to listen to and provides great insight on various issues of marriage. My wife and I greatly enjoy discussing the podcast together!

I just found this podcast. I started by listening to sex and aging (#368) with your guest, Dr. Doug Rosenau. As a therapist and sex educator, I have also thoroughly enjoyed learning from him.
