My first memory was in a church — in other words, I’ve been gladly walking with Jesus for a long time. However, I always felt like something was missing in my Christian communities and circles; it bothered me that so many important topics would be skirted around, as if some dialogues were “too taboo” for our God. It frustrated me that society was setting the standard for topics (such as sex and sexuality) that the Church should be leading on, especially since God created all things. So as a young woman in her 20s, this podcast has quite literally been the “missing piece.” Java with Juli has been a safe haven, a refreshing well of Bible-based knowledge and wisdom, and platform that welcomes holy curiosity. I consider Juli a distant aunt of sorts, as she’s had such an impact on my walk and talks and processing with Jesus. I’m eternally grateful for this podcast and ministry, and you will be too!

Juli is amazing and has so many resources. I am so thankful that she has been able to talk about the things no one else will. She honestly has saved my sex life and my marriage. This podcast is a God-send.

I am engaged to be married and this resource is such a life saver for me to learn what love and true intimacy is all about. I had such a weird understanding of what intimacy should look like. But after listening podcasts and reading Dr. Juli’s book “God, Sex, and your marriage” I feel more confident and prepared for important new season if my life - marriage. Juli is quite a fantastic host and teacher on this podcast. She is not afraid to talk openly because she has studied well on the topics. Good list of guests too.

I listened to the episode, marriage can be hard. I am a single Christian 29 year old and am on the quest to learn what marriage is truly about. This episode blessed me so much. I aspire to grow with someone to become more like Christ as one flesh. The Lord is so good and this podcast is a straight up blessing from heaven. Our relationships and marriages were designed to represent Christ’s love for us and that’s exactly what Satan wants to destroy. This podcast is so helpful in speaking truth into the hard places. Relevant, Biblical truth in the nitty gritty of life.

Dr. Juli is amazing at discussing the culturally relevant topics on sex and how it lines up with the Bible. Dr. Juli has the ability to discuss uncomfortable topics without making it feel awkward. Furthermore, her voice is so easy to listen to. She brings in the most knowledgeable guests to talk about questions on sex that are sometimes too embarrassing to ask. I learn something new every time I listen! Thank you for helping me understand God’s design for sex & helping me grow closer to Him through your podcasts.

The podcast contains real talk with biblical truth. Honest yet unashamed. Teaching intimacy, sex, and addressing issues so many seem to carry.

My husband and I look forward to listening every week. Juli covers such great topics with such grace and poise. It has been such a huge part of our marriage.

I have listened to Juli now for over 5 years and am amazed at what I learn weekly. I have shared her podcasts with countless people who have been encouraged and challenged in their personal sexuality as well as how to broach this topic in our Christian circles. Above all Juli has been constant in her dependence on Jesus and it is obvious she spends time in His word and in prayer to receive guidance. A true humble servant!

That’s not an overstatement. This podcast has changed almost every part of my life. Juli has helped me understand myself and who I am because of Jesus, while opening my eyes to the original design for my marriage and the potential it has. Fantastic resource to develop a Theology of sexuality.

Desperately needed conversations by a master of sexuality, theology, and human kindness. Juli is so informative, brings on such great people, and she’s so warm and wise as she digs into these really sensitive, personal issues. She’s reforming Christian conversations on sex (past strategies have done so much damage) but she’s sticking to grounded, biblical teaching (no easy passes into progressivism here). A huge blessing to the church!

Juli gives excellent advice and information on our sexuality from a Christian perspective and why God created us as sexual beings. It’s helped me understand how to have a better relationship with my spouse
